With being a small part of our local motocross racing series (NCMX, D/13, Mama, Victory Sports, and more), I'm curious to hear your take on how we can elevate the heart of the sport. What changes, if any, would make our races even more exciting and leave you wanting to return? Is there something specific you'd like to see improved within the series races?
I understand trying to cater to all levels of riders, but less classes is a must. Having 3 gate drops in a moto is a nightmare for everyone involved when it comes to lappers. It ruins the racing experience for everyone. At least 4-5 removed/combined classes would allow for more riders on each gate, one lap longer amateur motos and 15-20 minute pro motos. To end on a positive note, they have all done a great job when it comes to event execution and giving back to racers in many ways! Thanks to everyone who works hard to put these events on.
Run it like woods races. Have groups of classes and times so your not there all day. Less classes with longer motos. I'd be happy to pay $60 for two fifteen minute motos, especially if I knew around what time I'm racing.
Quit fixing everything on the track. Yeah it's dangerous, this is a dangerous sport, go slower or get better. Don't cancel due to rain. Once again, this is motocross it's about adversity.
